Thanks for the suggestion, those three packages are installed and application runs from the command line just fine. This is why it confuses me that it doesn't run at startup. Hi all, having an issue with autostarting redshift-gtk, latest version packaged for Mint Xfce 17. I have checked the 'autostart' option and have confirmed that the program shows up in the 'Session and Startup' dialog. New headers and updates didn't work. However, I have through further testing discovered that it's the 'Analog Stereo Duplex' sound source having the issue. Once I switch the output to the 4.1 or 5.1 surround setting, the issue goes away. A good stopgap fix, but I'm not sure what the implications wil...

No, that's a good place to start. Thanks for the recommendation. I sometimes forget that the latest download on the webpage isn't always the most up-to-date. Will follow up with this and see what happens.
