Tara: 'cache clean / apt clean' option....

Hi, Another feature tip / request which would come in really handy; an option, like 'Janitor' in 'Ubuntu-Tweak' to clean out old / cached files, apt, old kernels etc. See image. That would be really neat as I always rely on reinstalling Ubuntu-Tweak for that; it's such a handy nifty program for that...

Re: Cinnamon running in software rendering mode on an Intel NUC7i7BNH

Re: Gnome 3.10 on Linux Mint 17 (Cinnamon) Problem

I have Gnome-shell 3.10.4 running smoothly on my Linux Mint 17 Qiana.
Just installed it via terminal; I did install the gnome-shell gnome-extensions and gnome-session-manager
Had no problems with it; can open the Gnome Tweak tool without problems as well!

Re: Almost perfect install on an iMac.. Almost. :)

Hi, I've installed several Ubuntu / Mint versions on my Mac. It's not that difficult.... But .... Make sure in OSX to free up space first with Disk Utility! Do that on the OSX side. If you want to install Ubuntu you should download the iso that says 'suitable for iMac'. They have / make specific iso...

When I tryout several themes in Cinnamon and activate them to see what they look like, with each new theme my menu gets wider and wider... till almost the whole screen is covered from left to right! Ok, log off and on again does help but I think ...
