Vmware horizon 2203 client segfault

Hi. I'm using Mint xfce 20.3. I have been running different versions of vmware horizon successfully for a long time. The only issue recently was solved by installing the intel-media-va-driver-non-free package. But yesterday I had to update to horizon client 2203, and it crashes immediately after sta...

Re: Hello from Norway

Thank you for nice replies :) About 4.14: I dont think I dare to include "shady" testing-repositories to my installation. Its running so smooth now, and I had some bad experiences with Debian Testing, Manjaro and OpenSUSE Tumbleweed  I guess my experimenting-days are over... And, of c...

Hello from Norway

After a year of frustrating distro-hopping, I'm back to Mint, and I feel confident that this is where I belong :) 19.2 xfce feels rock solid on my T480. Re: How is linux kernel 5 on linux mint?

I'm running a fresh install of 19.2 xfce on my Lenovo T480 with mx150. After ditching the noveau-driver and installing the proprietary NVIDIA-driver, my monitors turned black for a long time every time I connected an external monitor. I crossed my fingers, and installed kernel 5.0. Ever since everyt...

Re: Any problems with ThinkPads and Linux Mint?

Another great option is the Lenovo x250.
I have been running 18.x xfce for some time, and everything is working flawlessly.

Re: Installing Latest Nvidia Driver into Linux Mint 12

Just some updated info: I just installed Mint 14 with xfce4 on my Asus ul30vt. Your tutorial worked perfect, with a small modification: - Instead of: # sudo service lightdm stop I used: # sudo service mdm stop I used the newest NVIDIA-driver: 310.32 Thank you for your guide - I have struggled to get...
