Re: qBittorent access denied .

This is getting beyond a joke now.Guess I'll have to ditch qbittorrent . After the above happened I basically deleted all my exiting torrents and started from scratch . The same has happened as before . .e,I/O Error occured for torrent "torrent name" - Access denied . I can add new torrents though ....

Re: Can't access or eject (some) USB storage after UP 7 [SOL

As well as adding the wheezy repo you'll also need to make sure the 'Backported packages' option is selected .This can be very simply done :D via the update manager/ software sources /linuxmint software tab .

Re: Can't access or eject (some) USB storage after UP 7 [SOL

Anyway when I enter sudo apt-get install gvfs=1.12.3-4 gvfs-backends=1.12.3-4 gvfs-bin=1.12.3-4 gvfs-common=1.12.3-4 gvfs-daemons=1.12.3-4 gvfs-libs=1.12.3-4 I get E: Version '1.12.3-4' for 'g...

Re: Is nemo not optimized to balance it's workload correctly

Current stable version of Nemo is 1.8.2, so there is little point in looking at problems with 1.1.2. Upgrade will become available with next UP I believe. Ok thanks .As a temp work around I can open all the music folder sub folders, before starting any file transfer. With that method I can transfer...

Is nemo not optimized to balance it's workload correctly?

Re: colord-sane is using 100% CPU

I was getting a little fed up this colord-sane process taking over the system resource's :x . So I marked it for complete removal from the package manager .Restarted! ok, No colord-sane! no cpu problem! . Colord is a system activated daemon that maps devices to color profiles :?: so I've removed som...

Re: colord-sane is using 100% CPU

I've tried the command --with-daemon-user=colord: and get command not found .It's a intermediate problem. The operating system is still fully functional until the colord-sane problem occurs .I will try some of the command expansions and see how things develop .Though this is interrupting my work flow...

colord-sane is using 100% CPU

Hi, Very weird this one. I found no search results of colord-sane on this forum . The process colord-sane is taking between 96-100 cpu .It's slowing my pc down almost to a stand still, if I use other applications. This problem goes away with a restart when colord-sane shows up around 0-2% cpu.I have...

You gave up on "waiting for help" on this forum after waiting less than 24 hours? :D Anyway... you might get better Ubuntu One support over on their forums , the way they recommend, as this is the Linux Mint forum and while I am sure people here can help (given enough time), you'd probably get quic...

Ardour 2 works fine imho together with the other free stuff that's available, Zynaddsubfx, Hydrogen etc. etc. and there are also LMMS, Qtractor, Rosegarden, Musescore. I have seen vid's and heard some music on Youtube that was created on linux only with the software mentioned before and it sounded ...

what about Bitwig studio in LMDE

http://bitwig.com/bitwig-studio Hi, As many electronic/computer orientated music producers have reiterated, 'The only reason I still use windows is because of the music software'. Bitwig studio many be a big step forward in allowing, wannabe 100% linux users, the opportunity to make that step . But...
