ibre Office Writer VS Word

I like libre office writer but i have noticed one thing. When i paste a picture into my document and shrink it down to the size i want, the resolution goes way down and is unreadable. Why is this? Word doesnt do this?

ahh i see. Im just confused beccause there is a "home folder" location that has desktop and what not and then there is a folder witihin root called home that is 70gb. thats weird but thanks!

So i know that there are /, /boot, and /home. On my kali os, i have a 20gb / and a 70 gb /home. How do i access the /home? it seems to be completely seperrate?

I figured out that is has to do with syndaemon. Im just not sure how to make both of them work together. I have syndaemon to disable the touchpad from working while typing.

Touchpad only sorta works?

I have mint 17.1 and an hp envy laptop. I can move the mouse with my touchpad, but the other functions dont work such as the tap to click, two finger scrolling or edge scrolling. Any ideas why or how to fix this? It is quite annoying. Thanks.

I will try that tonight when I get home. Is it possible that grub overrode the windows bootloader and deleted it so it no longer exists but it has grub? so then it just loads grub up again when attempting to boot? I would think so. Did you try to install Grub to the Windows boot partition by mistak...

how do i get os-prober? Would that actually help anyways since windows shows up, it just wont boot? I ran sudo update-grub in kali and it didnt help. I still boot the kali grub (its lower resolution) and windows still wont boot. What now?
