If you use emerald themes you will be able to change your themes anyway you like.
Thats where I would start looking for a solution.

I would be interested in this one too, I just yesterday got compiz and virtual desktops working, Ive tried getting the compiz-extras deb from many sites but as yet Ive had no luck as i always run into dependancy issues.

I have looked at the keyboard shortcuts and disabled those for the display manager and that seems to have done the trick.

Display popup keeps popping up (solved)

When Ive booted my laptop with xfce and open my browser more often than not the Display settings dialogue box pops up. This happends even though I have changed nothing and not connected it an external monitor (ever). Has anyone come across this glitch? Its seems to be happening when I use the down k...

Thanks for your help, I really do appriciate it. Looking at what you have to go through to fix it I think I will just leave it as it is. Especially as Im not using thunar anyway. Maybe we will get it fixed in the near future :)

I have a PowerMac G5 running headless, I used a KVM to fool it into thinking it has a monitor connected. It works well and I use Remmina to connect to it to do any admin. Its the easiest route I have found. xx
