Re: Mint KDE 15

As already comment on the subject of Linux Mint 15.... Right now, I'm using Linux Mint 15 KDE RC from a Live DVD. That I can tell you, is really beautiful .... It works wonderfully well on my machine. It takes a lot, but I really wish it was worth it (one really hurts support your time is so short)...

Re: Mint KDE 15

Well this is pure nonsense on Mint's part. It is like saying Windows XP's end of life cycle will be longer than Windows 8. But then there will be Mint 16,17,18 so it is a moot point. It is purely because of Canonical's decision to only support non-LTS releases for 9 months. The current 12.04 LTS is...

Re: Mint KDE 15

I am in no hurry for 15 as 14 suits me fine. When it arrives I will balance new features and benefits to see how quickly I want to move. The transition always takes me some time as I have 4 machines to migrate. Thank you Clem and contributors for such a fine distribution. Something to take into con...

It says that the 64 Bit is 100% tested. No progress on the 32 bit.

Re: Linux 15 Mate and Synaptic Problem

I cannot even use synaptic. I keep getting this error

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.

The fix does not work.

Re: Mint KDE 15

I can't wait? Why is that a question :) Linux Mint 14 KDE RC was released within one month after Linux Mint 14 Cinnamon/MATE RC. I think you can expect roughly the same; so KDE RC somewhere next month. It was a question as I did not know when KDE 14 was released or Linux Mate/Cinnamon. I was not us...

Single Mouse Click

In every OS I have used , I had the ability to use a single click to activate an application. It has not been since the days of using the first Windows that I could only single click. How can I acomplish this in Linux Mint 14.1?
