Sure, why not encrypt all the things !? ;-) OT (scnr) At the moment I play with Kali and I must say, they put a great installation routine together. Encryption of the whole disk is supported and it is only one click farther away as the unencrypted installation. I'm no developer, I can't port that. :...

I wonder, why is encryption not enabled by default? Or, at least, why is it not implemented in the installer for us laptop users :mrgreen:

Thank you Dr! I haven't thought about the scripts. Since they tried usernames without thinking and changing the proxy without twitching, I thought they use hydra or some other bruteforce tool. Maybe I extract the usernames and find a text file with them on the net What is still (kind of) bothering m...

Find out what hosts your device(s) run and install the needed software from the package manager is you need to. Look for the the address and connect. Wikipedia is a great recourse on how networks work ;-) Maybe you have to get sure, that they are on the same network (eg. 192.168.1.0/24 or 192.168.0....
