Thanks for the tip. I tried kazam and recordmydesktop but they both had problems whenever I would click on the cinnamon menu with the screenflashing blue.

I am having the same problem with my android phone, it's not huawei, it's pretty much all new phones, they use a new file transfer system that lets you keep your phone systems, 3G LTE etc. RUNNING while connected to the PC. it's called MTP (mass transfer protocol) and I have yet found a simple solut...
