Hi guys, dose anyone have a solution for the Cinnamon removal when doing a dist-upgrade (how to make a dist-upgrade with out removing Cinnamon)?

I also got the pango problem with kernels: linux-image-3.2.0-4-amd64 and linux-image-3.9-6.dmz.1-liquorix-amd64. For me reinstalling mdm did not worked, but using lightdm works.

After reading your post, and having done the updates, but not rebooted yet, I went in and installed lightdm. Once installed, I told Linux I wanted lightdm as default.
