I screwed up real bad

I created a new partition for Linux Mint on my HDD. But I screwed up on transitioning between Windows and Mint and somehow I'm stuck in some limbo of black DOS like screens . So all I want to know is that my data is safe and sound on the C partition of the HDD and also will I be able to recover this...

That's a difficult thing... I'd tell you to go look in your BIOS settings (assuming it's not a very new computer and has BIOS) and check if it's possible to disable the integrated monitor, but of course if the settings would be displayed on it then you can't see them... I don't know of any way to f...
