Re: Where is My Device Mounted?

Whenever I run that command this is my output bash: /run/user/candi/gvfs/: No such file or directory Ive tried variations such as preceding with sudo and replacing the uid with $USER same error. I thought installing mtpfs would fix the issue but it did nothing for me. http://www.webupd8.org/2012/12/...

Re: Music Player wont show up as default: JUK music player

Just changed music players from fresh install. Sorry if this thread comes up. JuK has a bug where it crashes anyways if any of the music files are moved in your folders.

Use Audacious, and I just ended up reinstalling my PC and then Clementine worked perfectly.

Thanks

Music Player wont show up as default: JUK music player

I always receive help from this forum. I am an Ubuntu user and Ubuntu forum never answers my threads. I was unhappy with the Rhythmbox default music player on Ubuntu 13.10. I tried several music players and the one that worked best was JUK. It is a KDE application. I want to set JUK as my default mu...

Re: Linuxmint 17 Cinnamon Install Default Login

I already cleared it up on the other post. Creation error. USB was on ext 4 not ext 2. That solved the problem when I made it correctly. Thanks

Re: Installation screen expects Username and Password?

I did that because it didnt seem like it was working when I was trying ext 2 (its been a while since I made a live usb so I forgot if it was ext 2 or ext 4). When I changed it to ext 2 it took me to the li...

Re: Linuxmint 16 wont play DVD; updated

Hi thanks for your response. Ill try the other stuff that you said, but as you can see, the first line of my post is that I did in fact install the ubuntu-restricted-packages, I believe so. Is there a specific package other than what is commonly known as ubuntu-restricted-packages? Thanks

Re: BootMgr Missing Windows XP reboot using Linux

If you are a glutton for punishment, you can google information on how to "slipstream windows" which is what those with early retail editions of XP do when a new service pack comes out if they want to create a new fully updated install disc for themselves. It goes into using isobuster or some other...
