On the contrary: it typically can cause slowdown when power management kicks in. Not before. :) I see, that makes really sense, thanks :o Can I somehow check if power management has kicked in or not or if it is handling my WiFi hardware? Hi everyone, I'm running Mint 15 Cinnamon parallel to Win7 (dual boot). However, in about 30-40% of all cases, when I shut down Linux (via mouse clíck Menu > Quit > Shut down), I get logged off, and all is done like shutting down normally, but the machine does not get powered of.
