Re: Cinnamon Suggish

Not exactly sure what it was, but I upgraded my kernel to 3.16 and now everything is much better. EDIT: Actually that did not fix it, but I did figure it out. My nvidia card has Powermizer, and after X amount of time it would underclock my card. This would make it have laggy transitions, after doing...

Cinnamon Suggish

Hey everyone, I've used Cinnamon for a while, and on most of my machines it runs great. However my desktop seems to be a little sluggish. Re: HowTo: Dual Boot Windows 8.1 + Mint 16 + UEFI Only (CSM

Excellent post! Thanks for doing this! Was thinking of trying to write something like this myself, but don't have actual experience doing it -- just second-hand knowledge from reading and helping various people try to resolve issues. I would try Boot-Repair if you're interested.

HowTo: Dual Boot Windows 8.1 + Mint + UEFI Only (CSM Off)

EDIT: This should also work for Mint 17. The guide is intended for bootloader configuration. Addit...

Re: How to disable mouse accel and change polling rate?

mouse settings are in the Hardware section of the Control Center, available from the Menu button. This is not configurable there, at least the ability for 1:1 is not available. OP: I have actually used the links you provided to figure it out. I will post back later with my results. I have since rei...
