Unfortunately I didn't have traceroute already installend on my OS. I don't have an Ethernet port on my laptop so can't run the command. On the LiveUSB in the other hand I get this output: $ traceroute google.com traceroute to google.com (74.125.230.73), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets 1 BThomehub.home...

Hi Pat! I haven't installed new software recently.
Unfortunately adding that line to /etc/hosts didnt help.

Sorry Pat, it doesn't solve the issue. Apparently I can't connect to any Wifi. I've already tried four different ones which I use often (home, work, internet caffee). On my phone (with 3G disabled) I can navigate. Also at work I can use my work laptop but cannot browse the internet with my personal ...

After an update two days ago I can't connect to the internet using the Wifi. I'm sure the issue is with Linux, because changing Wifi did not help.
