The speed of the processor does not affect displaying characters on the screen. I moved the hard disc to another machine (also Athlon) and it worked normally. You can install any free antivirus on your phone instead, which for sure is designed to detect Android viruses. I use bitdefender which scans the storage and monitor for installations.
