should I follow? I already have everything installed, it's just that PHP doesn't work.

Or, are you suggesting I follow the last section to remove Apache, PHPMyAdmin, and MySQL and then reinstall everything again?
Do not reinstall everything, just correct privileges and permissions.

Re: Can I remove .cache in home directory?

Yes. I use to use the next script. #! /bin/bash rm -rf $HOME/.cache/ Do you use Thunder Bird? Because doing this destroys all TB accounts and settings. Yes. I use to delete all caches and programs, including Thunderbird , are still working. Your problems are caused by making a .cache file, which me...

Re: Modifying mp4 video files...

With Kdenlive you can do it, but maybe is easier to extract an audio track using SoundConverter amd set sound level using Audacity, and then re-join the track using some video editing application like Avidemux.

Re: Can I remove .cache in home directory?

I think that is a bad idea. Better to move cache to the tmpfs https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Tmpfs I've got the following line in my fstab in order to mount Chromium's cache on tmpfs in RAM: tmps /home/philotux/.cache/chromium/ tmpfs rw,noexec, nodev, nosuid This isn't Chromium's cache. I removed the folder again and did

. Hopefully this will prevent recreation of the folder.
