Mount point being the drive itself? Can I specify a folder (Onedrive) to be a mount point?

Accessing files on a Windows 10 drive
I dual boot Sarah 18 on my windows laptop. I access my OneDrive files and Google drive files when I mount the windows hard drive. Is there a way for this hard drive to mount automatically when I login to Mint 18?

How to install VMware Player in Mint 8 (solved)
I have downloaded VMware player bundle to my desktop and I cannot install it. If I double click the file it asks me 4 things to do. I select run in terminal and it says I need root. I really need to get this thing installed any help would be greatful.

I plan on upgrading my hard drive to a larger one and need to know how to backup my disk and how to reinstall on the new hard drive. Can i use mintbackup or should I use something else? I actually thought it was the Mint release also until I backed up and tried to install the previous VMware bundle 126130 which installed without a hitch. ??
