The vertical format takes a bit of getting used to. I have to study it, instead of glancing at it, like I do with other calendars.

Another site, Stack Overflow I think it was, says the -M option is not supported in all Linux versions. Can I download a previous version of cal that supports the command cal -M -b ? If so, where do i find it? Or is there a comparable terminal command that prints the simple calendar? -Thanks -Sadhu
