With gphoto installed I still get that the camera is not supported. If I have to I can use the card reader and read the CF card direct.

Camera software <SOLVED> sort of
Running LM 17 KDE. I am looking for a good piece of software that will download pictures from my Canon XTi camera. I tried digiKam, but it does not work with my camera. I am open to all sugestions.

To get to the wallpapers, go to the Desktop tab (upper right corner) - Folder Settings or right click on the desktop - Folder Settings - click on Hawaii or any other picture.

I'm running LM 17 Cinnamon, the only backgrounds that are there is some that are not listed in Preferences - Backgrounds. Hovering the mouse nor right clicking gives ant information. My guess is that the OP is running Cinamon and wants the folder that shows the background from Preferences - Backgrou...

To adonis69 I just followed the directions from the link http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=90&t=127294#p694290 that you posted. I subtituted #FFFFFF(which is white) for #2a5a8a. As long as you know the code for the colors, you can change the color to any that you like.(I think) :D Hope...

Same here, I don't know when the font colors changed but I want them back to white.

LM 17 is too new to be included in UNetbootin yet. Instead of using the Distribution button, click the Diskimage button(near the bottom) and navigate to where your ISO is. Hope this helps.

I'm running Mint 17 Cinnamon RC & there is a Mono in the software manager. It is listed as Mono-complete. I'm not sure if it is in Mint 16. Hope this helps.

When asksing for help, please post your system specs, what distro, what desktop and whether 32 or 64 bit. I'm running LM 17 RC cinnamon and have no problems either. I would uninstall then reinstall from the software manager. Hope this helps.
