Re: Folding@home-Team Linux Mint-76140

Hi All, I see that we have another high flying team about to eat us for breakfast. They are gaining 118 million points a day on us (makes the heart sink a bit) I suppose this is another ex mining crew who had left mining and looking for another thing to do with all of that power. Has currency mining...

Re: Folding@home-Team Linux Mint-76140

Hi all,

I have just noticed that my GPU was running with a lower temp. Looking a bit closer I can see that it has dropped out of running the high point scoring FahCore 0x22 and was now back on 0x21. I hope that it picks the 22 series again soon.

It was good while it lasted.

I have one of these, and from memory I installed HPLIP and then asked it to print a test page. It said that it needed a plugin and offered to download and install it. I said OK. It worked from that moment.

I believe that I used synaptic package manager and searched for "python-support" and installed that, to cure the error message.

Re: Folding@home-Team Linux Mint-76140

battlenut and darktheme, I was a bit late making the changes to the flag setting. My 1070ti has gone from 732,233 to 917,234 . A very large increase. The temperature of the GPU has gone up from 62 to 66, and I am having to run the GPU fan at 90%. The extra points will help us get to the 100th place ...

Re: Folding@home-Team Linux Mint-76140

Hi all, battlenut good news for you. today I had another work unit where after each 1% done it showed an error about numbers not matching. This is the same error I had a couple of days ago. It had reached 20% before I noticed it. Purged all and re-installed folding and am back up and running again. ...

that looks like the type of fan setup that they have on our underground rail system to keep the air fresh. I want to see how battlenut goes about this built. Great interest.

Re: Folding@home-Team Linux Mint-76140
