I followed SMG advice and closed Thunderbird down, installed the update and all is working fine.

Re: Bluetooth instable / sudden disconnections
raffael84 ,
my Galaxy Buds Live started giving me problems a few weeks ago, and I found that all I had to do was to connect the small wireless aerial that came with the motherboard, and they immediately started to work perfectly.

Re: Folding@home-Team Linux Mint-76140
Hi Jeff13, all of the work units are from the same server fah1.innovatr.ca I have looked at four different work units this morning, 1 was a fast upload and 3 were 16 to 17 minutes to upload. I thought that just maybe all 3 of the computers were tying to upload at the same time, but they were not, so...

Hi all, over the past week I have suffered a problem once the work unit has completed. Normally the upload and download would occur at the same time and would take but seconds. Lately the upload has been taking up to 16 minutes. Is anybody having the same issue? Any ideas welcome Best regards Keith

Re: Folding@home-Team Linux Mint-76140
Hi all, I have been absent for a couple of days. I had recently purchased a RTX GPU 4080, and wanted to put it to work “Protein Folding” for “Team Linux Mint" on behalf of Stanford University in America· I decided to simply mount the motherboard onto a perspex base plate and then assemble the r...

Re: system crash lost wifi
Hi JeremyB, thank you for your reply. I turned WiFi off and entered your commands one at a time. Now on Fast.Com it has gone from 13 Mbps to 17 Mbps. I will reboot the computer and see if that makes any difference. I shut down and then restarted. On Wifi Fast.com is 62 and on Ethernet it is 70. Many...

system crash lost wifi(Solved)
Hi all, yesterday my computer crashed, reason unknown. I restarted it and found that I had no Wifi. I spent some time trying to correct the situation without any success. I decided to just simply start over again and do a clean install. All went well and I was finally up and running again (with wire...

Re: Suggestions for New (Updated) Graphics Card
theonlylinuxpowers,
I have only ever run Nvidia graphic cards and never had any problems with them, mine run flat out 24/7.
Have you asked this forum for help with your current card, as it seems to be a bit drastic to be buying a new GPU if your one can be fixed??
Best regards Keith

Re: Folding@home-Team Linux Mint-76140
Hi Jeff13, The 4080 rig has an AMD Ryzan 5800x CPU which is known for running hot, but it is a decent CPU nevertheless, if you can control the heat. It has 8 cores and 16 threads and it is using 14 threads to fold at the moment, so running pretty well flat out, and so generates a lot of heat. It is ...

Hi Jeff13 I have just purchased a new GPU. It is an Asus ProArt 4080, to complete my latest computer build. (NO CASE), it just sits on the desk. This is installed on an Asus B550 wifi motherboard which is mounted on an acrylic motherboard tray. The CPU is an AMD 5800x, and this is cooled with an Arc...
