Why are people suddenly so keen to hide the Grub menu? There are something like half-a-dozen threads on the subject pending on the Forum. The Grub menu is your friend. Just did a little experiment....entered the BIOS and selected the ssd as the first boot-device. Disconnected Windows HDD and at boot, I was presented with the GRUB menu. Selecting Windows returns an error, selecting Linux Mint, boots into LM which suggests that GRUB is already installed on the ssd. ...

Are you sure that grub is installed to your HDD?

I think you are saving to the blue 250GB SSD, which has 86 BG free. The red cruzer blade has only 60 GB free and is not being used. Deleted all backups and recovered almost 80 Gb of HD space...I was wondering where it was all going.

Do I have to backup my /home/xxx folder?
Why do I check them as EXCLUDE ALL FILES, if I want to save them? Doesn't EXCLUDE mean not to?

The PROPERTIES of the Timeshift folder have been loading for the past half hour and it still hasn't finished. Over 62 Gb of "backups"...that's ONE QUARTER of my hard drive and it still isn't finished! I think I'll be uninstalling this software and simply taking an .iso image of the disk on...

Not sure, but I haven't changed the include/exclude part.

Also, do I need to have the stick plugged in at all times, or just when TS wants to make a backup?
