I ran the live cd again pressing tab+e. it started in compatibility mode and loads all the data. I am running a LG Flatron monitor W2453V it is a 24 inch led Monitor.
I tried the live Cd cinnamon 17 64 bit. i held the tab+e button when it tried to run.
it could not get by the 24 inch monitor..
When i tried it with the 19 inch monitor it was fine.

Live cd will not work when i am using my LG Flatron 24 inch monitor.
live cd works fine if i use my 19 inch Sony.
Will there be a work around or will i need to wait till the iso is updated?

Actually i don't think dialup people have been thought of in a long time.
I just went back to mint 11 at least that works well for me ..
Well enjoy even when using dialup..

i setup dialup pppconfig and it all works fine except the system does not recongnize it. dialup connects fine with my isp. The system cannot see the dialup. what do i need to do to have Maya use it? I have used dialup with mint for years and never had this problem. all help appreciated. thanks mikey...

Does Xfce work well in a dual boot with windows 7?
I have tried Ubuntu in a dual boot situation and when ever there was a kernal update it would mess up the dual boot record.
Xfce loads well on my laptop as a live cd/dvd,
all help appreciated.

Hi: Gnome ppp does not work with the newer linux distrubutions...Matter of fact if you try the new Ubuntu 11 or Mint linux 11 pppconfig for setting up dialup does not work. and yes i know there are lots of us on dialup but few seem to care. I found PCLinux was good for diaup...it works // Good luck ...

Tried to run the dvd live (64 bit) and it will not load. The first 2 load lines come up and then READY and then it stops.. nothing more happens. This same thing happens on my desktop LMDE. I am running a pentium 930 dual core . All other versions run just fine.. also have Debian 6 running just fine....

From what i have been able to see there are a lot of people with the same problem. The live dvd just does not load...2011.01 I have just about every other operating system out there including the last 2 or 3 versions of Mint and all work just fine...
