I am unable to watch Australian Broadcasting Commission TV programs in "IView".
I have tried using FireFox and Google Chrome.
Both report the same error: Error Code: 102630
I have searched the ABC site and also Google. No coherent fix found.

Can someone please assist?

"You must Enable DRM to play some Audio or Video on this page Learn More".

That fixed it, thanks Pierre!

Funny; I could not find any mention of this on the ABC FAQ list.
Maybe it's there and I missed it.

I'll mark this thread as solved.

Jim.

I tried using the instructions here: https://computingforgeeks.com/install-latest-skype-on-ubuntu-debian-linux-mint/ However, I received a "command not found" when I entered the second command. Got it Flemur, thanks. Hey Wompoo, You could also check out some ham radio applications for audio and notch filters. You can find some DSP apps (digital signal processing) that may br tailorable to your needs. Downside--these are mostly written for Windows though. Thanks all. I don't know where to ...

You have to have a file open an part or all of it selected.
There's an actual notch filter under Effects -> Plugins 1-15 -> notch filter; although Effects -> Equalization is probably better.
Thanks for the reply Flemur.
I will try using a mp4 file.

More later............

I think you can do this with Audacity.

Thanks All.
I will look for it.

Edit: Found it. However, the equalization option is greyed out.
I might not have all the add-ons installed?

.............................. Just run xenopeek's command on /opt instead of your $HOME: sudo chown -Rv $(id -u):$(id -g) /opt Then you can write to it. It's not a good practice, though. Re: Workaround

Meanwhile, I have found a workaround. I merely change the destination folder from /opt to my downloads folder. That's the first mention you made of /opt, which is a system directory owned by root and not writable by regular users ( ls -al /opt ) so it's not for non-OS files; your "work around" is a...

Workaround

Meanwhile, I have found a workaround.
I merely change the destination folder from /opt to my downloads folder. Then I can move the file to somewhere else.

Thanks for all contributions and suggestions.
