Hi krauster, You are welcome... The Google Chromecast with Google TV would work well as would the others. HDMI not USB. I just read that you can "cast" from your Android smartphones and tablets to a Smart FireTV or Smart FireTV Stick (and other smart TVs), maybe from iPhones and iPads too....

The excellent SoundKonverter application works on all Linux systems even though it is a KDE app. I have used this many times to easily extract audio from video files, convert audio formats, and rip CDs into various audio formats including lossless audio files (.flac)....
