Thank you. I've got LMDE6 up and running on both machines now. So far it's flawless. It may be my projection bias here, but LMDE6 seems to be snappier and smoother than 21.2 on my older machine. But that's probably just me.

Thanks. That's the answer I was hoping for. I figured as much but I thought I'd check before committing my machines. I really do like what I've seen with LMDE6 in a VM. I've been checking it out for a few weeks. Now it's time to get serious with it. Thanks again.

To preface, I have two desktops with one running LM 21.2 Cinnamon and the other Debian GNOME. I want to switch them both over to LMDE6. I'm not sure why it would be running slow for you. One of my laptops is an old Acer i3 with 4GB RAM and Mint 16 Cinnamon runs just fine. Have your tried installing Mint with MATE or Xfce?
