Re: Only in Texas....

My daughter has lived in Copperas Cove since Gulf War 2 ended. I drove her there and flew back to Mass. She is now married with two kids and three grand children. No power for some days. Lots of snow and ice. She is an assistant editor and reporter for the newspaper in the city of about 35,000. What...

Recently my follow up I was told my Pacemaker battery is good for six more years. I will be eighty in April. It took six months or rehab. It was put in, October 29, 2018 after my heart stopped for sixteen seconds. Nurses, angels told me I have a second life. Make the best of it. I was shown a strip ...

Re: Off this morning for first covid 19 vaccine jab

As I said, Feb. 5th I received the Pfizer vaccine and upper arm slightly sore. Nothing else. Still fell fine at 79. Isolating with stepson who is 62 and handicapped with congestive heart failure. Still waiting for vaccine. We are both in the USA. Bachelor pad. We get along well. My wife, his mother ...

Re: Off this morning for first covid 19 vaccine jab

I got my first Feb. 5th. I am 79. Pfizer. Upper arm a little sore. The Senior Center in my little city set me up. Because of Covid spacing, the van was filled so a police officer brought me to a Senior Center about six miles away for the shot. The Senior Center has arrangements for this. I saw anoth...

Re: Looking for a new phone

I would shy away from iPhone. Apple seems to be doing it's best to annoy users. About three years ago when I had the SE, I noticed it was slowing down. I spent about forty dollars for a new battery. Found out Apple was slowing down data. The Fed's I believe came down on them. I just missed a $25 reb...
