Happy New Year everyone. It is quite a new one for me. Heart recently flat lined. After many chest compression's I ended looking up at a doctor lifting his hands of my chest and he said, welcome back. You have another life. Found out after the fact. Re: How to make Linux more sexy? Use movie stars names for new Linux releases

Linux does not need to be sexy. It is a tool.Get a life folks. Even the women names here for Mint are lame. The numbers keep it it simple. Many do not understand the KISS principle. Techies like to make life more complicated than necessary.

Re: Everything works fine except for LibreOffice

Not really sure how the OP installed LibreOffice but I installed it a few years ago after using OpenOffice for some years. LibreOffice has always worked ok for me but I do not mess with the software. Ex Windows user.
I also use LibreOffice in my W10 PC.

Re: Why did you decide to install Linux Mint??

I was using Ubuntu and it was missing stuff and did not like the forums.
I found that Mint 6 had just been released and had just about everything I needed. All I needed was a video player.

I started here with Mint 6. Ubuntu forums at the time were a real pain.

Mint 19.0 Concern

Hi All I have been watching a long discussion about not using Mint 19.0. I have been using Linux since 2003 but not really into the software part. Internet, Videos, Letters, Text sometimes. I bought a DVD with Mint 19.0, Cinnamon 64 bit with the Mint label on it from Amazon. A few years ago I bought...

Yes, I have been there twice. Oldest daughter lives in Copperas Cove, Tx. I live in Western Mass. Enjoyed touring F...

I have them in the house for pure power and power outages.
Just Google Uninterruptible power supplies. All the answers are there. But you already got your answers anyway.

I have been using a iPhone SE since it came out. At 77 it is ok for me.
I also have an sixth generation iPad for reading books since I can adjust the font size and keep many books on hand.

I have been running Linux since 2003. No problems. Right now I run a laptop with W10. Much too difficult to dual boot with Linux. I tried. I refuse to spend hours maybe days on the forums trying to figure it out. It use to be easy before W10. I also run Mint on an older Acer laptop quite well. Not s...
