anyways, disregard "ipv6" being blacklisted - a while back people were saying to disable it so that the internet would run faster - and now its disabled by mint.

anyways, i've been using Linux Mint for a while now... there was no problem using it on a wired ethernet connection. but now that i switched to wireless (USB) adapter (AIRLINK AWLL302) (supposed to be HIspeed 2.0, but i plug it into a usb 1.0 port...) it erratically reboots (the DELL screen shows up...

... i retract my previous statement... -.- EVERYTIME you log into Gnome after a reboot it'll ask you for it...

but if you log out and log back in, it wont.

i got it to work...

to delete keyring...

delete

~/.gnome2/keyring/default.keyring

and wow, it doesnt ask for password anymore.. haha

when i put in the wireless network with WEP key and such, it asked for a password and i put one... how do i remove it because it asks me every time i boot the computer

i would say to install it from the automatic installer from the hplip http://hplip.sourceforge.net/ for some reason if i dont do this, my printer prints off the center... dont know why... vlc is a decent player... but it cant play everything... haha i have VLC, Totem, and Mplayer installed on my Mint system... though Totem handles most of the videos i throw at it, it doesnt play the .mkv h264 (x264) encoded files... so i must use VLC... but VLC also crashes, so the only other player ...

mplayer - out of sync audio

well, anyways, i noticed that mplayer will play files out of sync if there is no audio at the Beginning of the file... -.- currently it is the only player i have that will play H264 files, (VLC and Totem Xine both crash) i believe the audio is AAC.... anyhow, anyone know how to correct this problem?...
