Just a simple question.

Re: Logitech MX 5500 + Mint 12 64bit

Same here with Logitech diNovo keyboard and laser mouse, disabled BT then removed dongle, inserted again whilst moving mouse and tapping keyboard, this helps until the next restart, then I have to do it all again.

Re: Problem installing

Thanks a lot all of you,

I got rid of the capital letters and indeed, proceeding as should, again a nice example of the great Linux community.

That capital thingy will dissapear in the near future I suppose.

Thank you,

[Solved] Problem installing

I can't get Mint installed, I get stuck in the "Who are you?" screen, all files get loaded from the live dvd, it then says "ready when you are" but then.... nothing, the forward button stays greyed out, so I restarted, it says, take the dvd out, it restarts and then it finds no GRUB, any ideas?

Re: Boinc and Seti@home

I am running Boinc for quite a while now and it has come to my attention that the Boinc version in the repo is 6.2.18 while version 6.10 is already released for other platforms, is there no ubuntu/debian package anywhere we can use on mint?

Re: Linux Mint 7 x64 RC1 released!

It's actually because I don't want to do a fresh install of the RC1 just to have to upgrade 1 or 2 days later to the Main, anyhow, I've seen that the last post in the RC1 Bug thread dates back to June 3rd so that +10 days away, if no more bugs show up, it could'nt be that long for the Mint Team to h...

Re: Linux Mint 7 x64 RC1 released!

I went from Mint 6 x64 to Mint 7 32, looks really good, can't wait to get the x64 but I'm seriously in doubt about installing the RC1. Any idea how long the RC1 needs to be tested before the stable release?
