Re: New build with LM Cinnamon!

Thanks! You know, I considered going with an M.2 SSD, but it seems that they cost more, and I couldn't figure out any real benefits of going with that over a 2.5 drive. I had been wanting to build a computer for a long time, but like you, couldn't justify it. My old Dell was still running well, but ...

New build with LM Cinnamon!

Hi all! It's been a while since I have been on this site, but I wanted to post that I just built my first computer with Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon! It runs really fast. Here are the specs, nothing super impressive, but fast for what I need it for! OS: Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon (of course! :D ) Motherbo...

Pinta seems to be working very well, and is easy to use. Thanks for the recommendation!

Re: "Save" not working in Kolourpaint

That is too bad, I guess it is time to find a new paint program. I loved Kolourpaint, it was very easy to use. Any suggestions for another easy to use paint program?

Re: "Save" not working in Kolourpaint

Thanks! I didn't know about the locate command. Very useful. I was able to use the cd command to move to the directory where the kolourpaint folder was located. I deleted it, but it still won't save in kolourpaint. I am thinking it is that bug you posted about.

I don't have a folder for Kolourpaint in my home folder, might it be somewhere else on my hard drive?

"Save" not working in Kolourpaint

Hi everyone, I am having an issue trying to get the "save" option to work in Kolourpaint... It used to work great, but then a while back it stopped doing anything. Now, when I click save after editing a picture, it doesn't do a thing. Anyone else have the same problem? I am running Linux Mint MATE 1...

Re: cannot upgrade to LM 17.1 from 17.0

You have to click on the blue "Release notes for Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca" link before you can click continue. Clicking that will open it in your web browser, and then you can simply close that and click continue. You will have to do the same for the next page of "new features" too. Hope that helps! :D

You can, but just very, very little. That is one big reason I left Ubuntu and came over here to Mint. Linux Mint is just perfect! :D

How to get the "tool box" back in Kolourpaint? [SOLVED]

I have it set to show the "tool box", but there still isn't anything there on the left side where it should be. Any ideas? Here is a picture to show you what I am looking at. Th...
