This is where Ubuntu comes in. In Ubuntu MATE they took the time to set up pkexec to run with caja. Also with pluma. So pkexec caja and pkexec pluma works. This carries over to Mints fork of Ubuntu MATE. Unfortunately pkexec <path> doesn't work for Tkinter apps, I believe. I'm trying to launch XAMP...

Corsair VOID PRO USB Premium headset here. Same occasional crackling issues on Mint 20.1 Mate from 5.8 till 5.10.21 kernels. Also nothing like that happen in Windows. No crackling in 5.11 kernel. However no Nvidia GPU driver support in 5.11 kernel as well. Seems I should wait until Nvidia will begi...

I agree. Setting browser.warnOnQuit to "false" in about:config removed warning dialog on FF close in Mint MATE 15/16 for me.mank_in wrote:This is the problem start from LM12
