Other in LM readable files are also fine.

Thanks in advance for helping comments.

OpenVPN vs NordVPN what is needed and better?
LM20.1 Cinnamon Networking is most likely my weakest point concerning PC etc knowledge. I wanted to install NordVPN and found that OpenVPN is installed in the default installation of LM20.1 Cinnamon. (Openvpn, Network-manager-openvpn-gnome, and Network-manager-openvpn). However, when I search for &q...

Evolution - location of dictionaries and how to edit them
Evolution: 3.36.4-0ubuntu1 LM 20.1 Cinnamon. I started a few month ago using Evolution and like it a lot but it seems that Evolution does not have a user dictionary. As I am using a Japanese keyboard, there are no German Umlauts and instead I am using the alternative way ae, oe, ue, and the sz I wri...

Re: Purge a certain libreoffice version
Thanks for this valuable information. Flatpaks are in the Startup. With flatpaks being updated automatically they are the same das PPA installations which also upgrade automatically. Step-by-step I understand flatpaks. Some flatpaks require a lot of diskspace. Are there certain package which are onl...

Re: xsane - counter suffix to output file name
I found the solution in another version of the xsane manual. The format of the filename needs to be xxxxxx0001. xxxxxx is any character combination to used as filename with any character as separator between the xxxxx and the number. Start with 0001, set the step to 1 and the the numbers at the end ...

xsane - counter suffix to output file name [SOLVED]
LM20 Cinnamon Xsane 0.999 The xsane manual says When the filename contains a counter at the end then the counter is updated by the selected step width when the scan has been completed. However, the manual says nothing about the format of this counter I tried: - # - % - & - $ non of these work. I...

Re: Purge a certain libreoffice version
@antikythera Thanks for your explanations. Here is something on the background. On my x230 LM20 Cinnamon machine I'm running LibO 6.4.x (default version) and parallel 7.0.3.x. this works nice but there is a small bug in Calc of 7.0.3.x. Hoping that this disappears in my x240 LM 20 Cinnamon machine, ...

Re: Purge a certain libreoffice version
@antikythera
Thanks, I followed your advice and used "Mark for Removal" (NOT Mark for complete Removal) doing so I could keep the config files.
Default version of LM 20 seems to run normal.
