Re: Mouse pointer size

Accessibility features are still beyond the realm of Google's capabilities! There is also the problem of font size in Tabs & Menus. Chrome ignores system wide settings. Chrome is designed in such a way as to stop developers from developing extensions for these issues. I am running Google Chrome...

From a Terminal simply type: telnet address_goes_here

Example: telnet bbs.dmine.net OR telnet 127.0.0.1

[Solved] Is Memory Hole Remapping neccessary

I have searched the Internet for an answer to this and cannot find a definitive answer. Everything goes off on wild tangents that make no sense to me at all. I have an AMD Phenom Quad 64 bit running Linux Mint 17 64 bit with 8 GB RAM. So quite simply do I need to have Memory Hole Remapping enabled i...

Re: Wine 1.6 - Packages Missing?

Is the wine ppa in your sources repository?

If not enter this from a Terminal:

Code: Select all

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
Then this

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
I'm not sure if you will have to un-install then re-install Wine after this.

Re: Creating a launcher to open a program with Mono

Try this>

Right click on icon and simply add mono to front of command like: mono programamname

If that doesn't work try this page : http://www.mono-project.com/Running_you ... pplication However it may be a little confusing.

Have a good day! :D

Re: Looking for backup software recommendations

You could use the built in backup tool: Menu-->Administration--> Backup Tool But if you have VirtualBox installs, the backup for .vdi files will take long time. CloneZilla is fast but is complicated to use, it creates a system image unlike Backup Tool. CloneZilla runs from a CD with no OS installed ...

Re: Resize shortcut with ALT+Right-Click

Your post title says "Resize shortcut with ALT+Right-Click" but in your post you say "Alt+Right click for resizing windows".

Do mean how to resize an icon? Then right click on icon, no ALT key needed.
