it does but the wl driver is auto installed when installing the os which automatically blacklists the one you need and from what I've read after working on this for 4 days (i know I don't give up easily) is there might be a solution out there but of the 100's of articles not one worked or if it did ...

not supporting wheezy (deb 7) have to have deb 8. They say they will supply the source code for those that want to compile it themselves. There goes one easy usage, I haven't done any programming since the amiga was around nearly 25 years plus ago, getting a bit long in tooth to jump through new hoops

Mine to. Just did the chrome update and revived the same message. Hope Firefox doesn't go the same way (it runs better not so much a resource hog). Mac's received a similar but different excuse, they are not going to be supported unless their processor has SSE2 or above. Note nothing about 32 bit

@giepen.m: I saw, earlier in this thread you created a file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/, as proposed in the Arch wiki. I had changed the directory already to /usr/share/... The bug still occurs. New is that some (not all) jpg are black or corrupted - here a screenshot of a fullscreen jpg Back to "uxa"...
