I've changed my password, and now EVERY time I login it states that I have exceeded my logion attempts and I have to fill out the CAPTCHA! Surely this can't be right?

After much internet searching and discovering how the Bios checks disks for booting, I decided that the non-LinuxMint disks still had their Master Boot Record (MBR) pointing to a non-existent Unbuntu installation. Thanks for all the replies. However, I have tried most of these suggestions without results. I am still investigating how I can configure the BIOS to boot from the correct disk as changing values doesn't seem to make any difference! It could be something querky about the Dell Precision BIOS settings...
