Got that and I can use settings to exclude folders if I want
I want to change the location of where snapshots saved when I open location tab it only allows you select complete drive, is there no way to save to a dedicated folder?

But surley if you select your hardrive it wll backup everything for examp-le photos you have stored in your home folder? or are you saying it automatically just selects system folders and files?

A very comprehensive reply, I did see that how to on the airvpn forum, and have got as far as starting the program, but as you say it needs sudo...

I am not sure that I want to meddle with the sudoers file without a bit of research.

make programs re start after shut down or reboot SOLVED

I have a fresh install of mint 17.1.
Is there anyway of getting mint to restart programs automatically after a shutdown or reboot.

For example if I have browser running and a terminal window open if I re boot system without closing them is there anyway to get mint to resume them after re boot?

Hi
Great !! well spotted ip was not a typo I originally had my NAS getting it's ip via DHCP from the router, I changed this to a fixed ip and forgot to edit fstab to reflect this.
All working perfectly now.

I have never encrypted before either dont know why I did seemed like a good idea at the time. I will give what you suggest a try and if works I think I will reinstall mint from scratch and leave off the encryption. I have quite a few other automated things I will need to run and I think this encrypt...
