After running skype in console I'm get following message after crashing: "Corrupt JPEG data: 3958 extraneous bytes before marker 0xd9".

I got hit with the 'Skype can't connect' bug this morning. I uninstalled the current (4.2) version using 'Software manager'. I downloaded the 4.3 version from the Skype web site. After purge remove skype and installing it again Skype crashes few seconds after logging in.
Any idea how to debug or fix it?
Skype ver. 4.3.0.37.
