Re: DAUM Potplayer and Auzentech X-Fi Forte, please Help :)

I was a staunch and loyal follower until the advent of x265 support which sucks big time. For no apparent reason the picture simply freezes a small segment of audio goes into infinite loop. After some meticulous search I cam across PotPlayer and have been extremely satisfied in every aspect. Just wi...

Re: Video Drivers

Ok. I apologise about the error in my post. Like I said I did manage to work around the missing drivers. In any case here are 2 specific machines with difficulties. 1. Zotac ION -mini-itx motherboard. Intel Atom N330 dual core processor with nVidia ION graphic chip + 3 Gb ram. 2. Jetway J7F2We2G-OC-...

Re: [SOLVED] Persistent Mint 17.1 Live USB with ClamAV neede

Here is my 2 bit worth. You might want to visit pendrivelinux site and use Yumi to create a persistent version of your live Mint USB flash drive. I on the other hand am looking to install Mint - closest to Windows in UI - which will install the boot record to the PBR and not disturb my MBR. Unfortun...

Bootloader location option

Hi, I have kept away from Linux for quite a while ever since Ubuntu installation wrote to the MBR and trashed rest on my hard disk with other operating systems. Yesterday I tried live boot of Mint 17 - Cinnamon from cd. Booted extremely fast and really liked the interface. I would like to install it...
