None of the posted solutions work. When I plug my iphone 4 in. I get a message saying view pictures, then it thows an error saying it can't. I can not mount the deivce. I just had this same experience yesterday. I was like, "why isn't there just a button to change the wallpaper." Linux Mint 17 KDE right click on the desktop and then select folder properties. I don't even know how that makes sense, but it worked for me.

When you installed Linux Mint, it did not give you an option to connect to wifi? Or did LM say you can not connect to any at the moment.

Still looking for a solution. To clarify, I want all sites, but one to route through my vpn. The one site I do not want blocked, will use my real ip.

May seem like a simple question, but I have not found out how to allow a website to bypass my VPN! For example, a site I use blocks my vpn provider, so for that one site, I want to let it bypass the vpn. Any way to do this?
