Re: PulseAudio causing issues
Ok,
so far so good.
PC went to sleep, and upon being woken, no shockwave or PulseAudio issue.
I will continue to monitor this through out the day before marking it solved.
Thank you so much for your fast and helpful advice.

Re: PulseAudio causing issues
Hi, and thank you for your assistance.
I ran sudo chown -R gck:gck $HOME, and now I get nothing returned when running sudo find $HOME ! -user $USER
I guess we just let it go to sleep and see if we have the same issue upon wake up.
Thank you.

Good morning and happy new year. Ok, here is my issue. I have been a Mint user for a few years now, and have never had issues like the last 5 - 6 days now. I use Google Chrome, and it is the latest version. Only on this pc, I run into shockwave issues on espn's fantasy leagues site, and othersites t...

Re: boot issues
gbok, so I had Windows 10 and Mint 17.2 dual booting and working as expected. On Friday morning, I went onto Windows for the first time in a month, and it took an update. Upon restart, I had no grub. What your instructions have accomplished for me, is removing any option to boot to Windows or Linux,...

Re: boot issues
I have used those commands when I used the terminal. Grub is present, but Mint does not show, just windows and 2 memory tests. When the pc boots up, it shows boot up screen, then goes to the grub. There is no Linux option there at all. I can see the contents of the linux drive, sda2, and everything ...

Re: boot issues
So basically, I need to get Mint 17.2 listed back on the grub. I can boot into Windows 10 just fine, and can get into the MInt using the iso, but I need to get my Mint back on the grub.

Re: Triple monitor on 2 cards..so close.
Well, I gave up and acquired a card with 4 dvi outputs on it, and have triple monitor the way it should be. So it is definitely an issue with Linux running 2 cards at the same time. You would think it would be fairly simple to fix.

Re: Triple monitor on 2 cards..so close.
So with nvidia, the ATI card has turned off. That's exactly the result I was getting when trying to run dual head Radeon R7 260X (with fglrx) and onboard HD 4250 (with radeon). Whenever R7 was in use, 4250 would just stop working. I tried to had another go last night, but seems after having been di...

Re: Triple monitor on 2 cards..so close.
Ok, I have loaded the nvidia drivers, and have the 2 monitors working properly on the Nvidia. Here is my xrandr now: Screen 0: minimum 8 x 8, current 3360 x 1050, maximum 8192 x 8192 DVI-I-0 disconnected primary (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) DVI-I-1 disconnected (normal left inverted ri...
