Dann kennt es auch nur jemand, der es ebenfalls verwendet. Du solltest die Werkzeuge unter Zubehör (USB-bbilderstellung und USB-Stick-Formatierer) mal ausprobieren.

Re: Used space on ssd growing every day about 200MB

Again nothing suspicious and the values do match with the sum of 2.7 GB. Compare the values in the next days to find out, where the additional place gets used.

Re: All items disappear in Menu

As I said already some posts above we had reached the state to know, that the culprit was not in the system. So a new installation was surely not necessary. In the worst case - and sometimes this happens also - creating a new account for permanent usage would have been enough. Those 2 folders are th...

Re: [SOLVED] Cannot open any apps using the icons on the panel menu.

If she did not know, how to reboot a computer, it appears likely, that the system had been running for ages without being shut down. Might be, that there was an update for a critical component (e. g. Cinnamon) and the mix of old version in RAM and new on the drive did not work well together.

If you do not know, what those 2.7 GB in your home are, click in baobab the triangle in front home and go deeper, as far as needed.

Dying mice can behave very unpredictable. How behaves the touchpad? Or if possible another mouse?

Re: Used space on ssd growing every day about 200MB

So far nothing unusual.

I do not know, how fresh your install is, but it is likely, that you did not store the 2.7 GB in your home in one shot. Let us assume you have it for 14 days, so 14 * 200 MB is roughly 2.5 GB. Possibly that explains the grown used space.

Re: Used space on ssd growing every day about 200MB

Open the menu and enter in the search bar baobab (the actual name depends from your language. Here you can inspect into the used space. The folders with most usage are at the top of the list.

Re: Update manager 4 level updates

For the time being one could add TS to the favorites in the menu or to the quick launcher applet (in Cinnamon); problem is, that both of them are usually at the far left of the desktop and the update manager more or less at the far right site.

Re: Cannot open any apps using the icons on the panel menu.

More chance of success would exist, if the user comes here by herself and answers the question. First one would be: What at all does work? Can she open a terminal - via the quick launcher in the panel or with the hotkey ctrl-alt-t?

Doesn't seem to be the case. I have 18.3 Cinnamon running here as a guest and it works just as all the other VMs I use after adding the correct guest additions.

I did not say, that this should be done, but that it is worth to discuss. Actually my experience with TS not older than LM 18..3, but from my first impressions it seems to do what it is expected to do. I tried it yesterday with a number of level 4 updates, created a restore point, applied the update...
