Re: SSD and Mint

I've been reading about SSD,s for two days now and I have yet to find how to access the second SSD. I know it should be real simple, but for the life of me I just cannot access the second SSD. Re: I never see anyone talking about building Mint desktops!

I seems like most people I see on this forum, myself included, have minty laptops, but I rarely see anyone with a desktop signature or talking about building their own PC with mint. I love to build computers in my spare time. My next build when I am out of college and get my first non-internship wi...

Re: What are your top tips for a Newbie?

every suggestion I've read is good advice, also, once you have Mint installed try to familiarize yourself with system settings, learn as much as you can, then learn some more, but most of all(and this is very important)HAVE FUN.

I want to play Microsoft Flight Simulator in Linux Mint. I guess my question should be what is the best simulator to use? Wine or Play on Linux?

Re: Questions about Defragging or Antivirus? Look here first

I would just like to add that it is usually unnecessary to defrag a Unix like OS.(Ie, Linux,Free BSD, Solaris, OSX). Most newbies should nnot have to defrag.

Re: A few questions before I get LinuxMint

My suggestion is to run a live CD of Mint on your current system, if you like it you can then install it along side of your current OS or delete you current OS and use your whole disk for Mint.

currently run Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon...............Ran Mate for years, but i like Cinnamon better now.
