Yes, i know that, but like i said before, i have Windows 7, LM and another linux. And still using my DVD-RW.

The bad Cinnamon menu performance is a known issue and will likely be addressed for 19.2. Currently it's generating all icons for all your menu entries before first showing it to you. The more menu entries you got the longer it takes.

you can make it run ever so much faster by replacing the HDD with a SSD. I did that with a Dell 5210 and it was amazing I know that SSD is much faster, but i have lot of data on my hdd+another linux and Windows 7. Also i am using my DVD recorder from time to time. PS: SSD are fast, but for me this ...

Icons in Menu are showing slow

Greetings, I've been using LM for a few years, Cinnamon most of the time. Every first time, when i press the menu button, it takes about 2 seconds for all icons to load. And it's annoying. If i open the menu for a second time, it's fine. I have DEll inspiron 3543 if that matters. Any idea how to fix...
