That looks like Cinnamon Expo view, I haven't had Cinnamon installed for a while so I don't know if it's still built in or an applet you'd have to install nowadays. It's not available on other Mint DEs AFAIK.
Aw OK I was wondering what was wrong thanks so much for your help

Re: print screen

Why don't you take another screen shot and this time look at the ext were the file is being saved. I would think it would have been in the download folder

Re: Acer Aspire / Z all in one desktop

Actually it was a different command I didn't see this one I'll try it when I have access to my desktop. In my BIOS as I stated it has something like ALWAYS use LEGACY NEVER use UEFI I'm not really sure which would be the correct settings because if I use Always use Legacy, that would mean It wouldn'...

Re: Acer Aspire / Z all in one desktop

Some computers have an hybrid mode which can concurrently enable UEFI and Legacy. Doesn't seem an hybrid mode is available in your case, choosing the Always option for CSM probably disables UEFI. As Windows was installed in EFI mode, you need to install Mint in the same mode Windows was installed. ...

Re: Acer Aspire / Z all in one desktop

Glad it worked as expected :) Ok so I managed to get rEFInd to install on the USB drive but I'm guessing I have to leave it plug to my machine in order to login to my mint Os is this correct? Installing rEFInd on the hard drive is an option, also needs some command line, the goal is to move and rep...
