I tried that already. Thanks anyway.

Hp-Setup is not on the Linux Mint 18 system :oops:

sudo apt-get install libtool-bin worked fine. Now HPLIP installs ok and finds the wireless printer.

The printer only works with the USB cable attached. I want to print and scan using wifi... :oops:

Disappearing Clock

I am usnig Linux Mint 18 with XFCE. When I change the clock format to 12 hour the entire clock disappears from the panel. Under Preferences/Options it reads Format: "Custom Format". I changed the clock display to LCD and it reappeared in 12 hour format, though... :P

I searched Google for "HP 3520 ppd file". I went to http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/deskjet_aio/deskjet_3520_series.html and used the online printer device driver wizard. The install wizard at http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/mo ... eries.html seems to work. It seems to be a matter of selecting the right file for the correct Linux distribution. I searched good for "hp 3520 ppd file".

HP3520 not full duplex or scanning from Linux Mint 17.2 KDE

I cannot scan with my HP Deskjet 3520 with Linux Mint 17.2 KDE. I see no way to configure the printer as full duplex. Neither Xsane or Simple scan can locate the scanner.

LinuxMint won't find my Wifi Card

I have a Dell Latitude d510 with Linux Mint 17 installed. It won't identify or install a driver for the installed Braodcom Wifi Card. These are the card specs:

Broadcoam DW1470
TW-0D9002-36210-57A-1E3D
MAC: 0014A509D686

Go to advanced search
