I agree. A machine that has only 4 GB of RAM and a 1. GHZ CPU is just too old to be effective with today's modern operating systems. I agree. A machine that has only 4 GB of RAM and a 1. GHZ CPU is just too old to be effective with today's modern operating systems. It is time to shop for a new laptop.

I can't see how Windows 10 even works with 4 GB of RAM. Really everyone recommends at least 8 GB of RAM for Windows 10, I have not seen a laptop with 4 GB of RAM in many years.

The best Android emulator that I have used is a native app in Windows 11. Have you tried Windows 11? There are some fair Android emulators for Linux, and somebody will be along to recommend their favorite.

All you have to do in LM19 is right-click on the iso file -> select "Open With" and select "Disk Image Writer". Select the USB in Destination then click on Start Restoring. You already posted these directions upthread but maybe the OP did not read them. ok where do i find the 19...

Follow the directions that have already been posted in this thread. DO NOT do an upgrade of Linux Mint, do a clean install.

I agree, a clean install is the easiest. Try Xfce.

If you're not a hi fi enthusiast then Linux works just fine for music listening. If you are a nut about hi fi, then you will want to switch back to Windows because bit perfect audio reproduction does not exist in Linux.
