Re: 1 2 3 breath. I volunteered to take care of a puppy. Second thoughts...

CC..I have had dogs all of my life. All raised from puppies and all a wonderful experience. All of them were trained to sleep in a crate. They quickly learned the crate was their place... a warm. soft , and safe place for them. I give them a wind up alarm clock to mimic the heartbeat of their litter...

Re: linux mint dark screen

from how to get help... Include the version and architecture (32-bit, 64-bit) of Linux Mint. List any relevant hardware or software specifications. 'inxi' is a useful terminal command for listing this. Use inxi -h for help. Generally it suffices to type the following in terminal and include the outp...

Re: Linux mint 19 wifi not wrking

found this on google''''. You may have to turn this on via the keyboard using the Function keys. Hold down the function key Fn and press the F1 (some models use the F5) key, that turns the WiFi card on. Let us know if this will work for you. Hope this helps, good luck.

You may see if it helps....r

Re: GPS Maps can steer you wrong and be very dangerous to your life

The last year I worked as a marine tech we received a badly damaged bass boat to be repaired. The bow and starboard side of the boat was totally destroyed. The owner had been fishing on a large lake the day before and had marked his route on his gps for the next day. He launched the next day in heav...

Wrath1998...

Since this is a new install, for me to make it easy, I would just reinstall Linux

I know very little about Linux, although I have used it for a long time, so I take the easy way out.

And it is much faster....r

Re: Dogs...wonderful

Logical thinking Cosmo. Much like my own thoughts when I lost my last Dobie, Annie.

No matter the breed, all dogs are of the same heart. they give all and expect nothing in return.

The Min Pin will breath new life into you trying to keep up with her play. cheers..rumous

Re: Dogs...wonderful

Hi Cosmo....I'm happy you have a new dog. Is it another Dobie?

murphCID.....I had a hunting buddy, an American Pointer. that started turning grey
at about 11 years old. We hunted birds for another 5 years and he enjoyed every

Re: Autoharp?

Hi Wally...I got interested in Autoharps after seeing Maybelle Carter playing one. I was in a folk band at the time. After buying one I thought with so many strings, it could be a lead instrument. And it was..with limitation. At that time there were very few tunings available and no electrics. I use...

Re: Ride-on mower battery...

Tenfoot.... All41 is correct in his response. A load tester is needed to check the condition of a battery.

Abad battery may produce 12 volts when checked with a volt meter but doesn't have the amps to do the job.

Get a new battery.....r

Cosmo,,,,,,,I feel sad that you have lost your beloved companion. I have never found another creature on earth

that gives their all, willingly, and expects so little in return as a dog.

I;m sorry for your loss.......r
