I have now gotten in to my laptop again, on the Intel GFX again.
on the nvidia driver handler, I where using 535.129.03.ubuntu0.22.04.1 package.
I'll try the 525.147.05.ubuntu0.22.04.1 to se if it is usable.

I see from the other post you link, I can log in to terminal. Can you give me a code for/ to terminal, and by that code I can change my system back to use the onboard (intel) gfx? sudo prime-select intel and then reboot. Thx for you time SMG. Just had to do a timeshift recovery from before the "force to use Proton experimental"-trick, since my drives where full, and the mint installation bugged for some reason.
Hereafter I could say "skip" to vulcan shader upgrading/loading, and civ6 startedand played without issues.

I set it for forced "Proton experimental", and then the game + DLC downloaded again, then a 2K launcher where I could choose DirX 11 or 12, and then I where able too start the game, and run with even more mods than I where able to with "native linux" in mint 20.3. Thx for assista...
