I don't work in RAW anymore but I may have a few images in my old nikon format to test with. Otherwise, I dumped Gimp in favor of Krita for Jpeg editing. You might want to check that out. Welcome to some minty freshness!

Canon MG2520 Scanning on Mint KDE 17.1

I picked up a Canon Pixma MG2520 and hooked it up today. Printing is working fine off the bat. Scanning though is a little bit more of a problem. I have installed simplescan and gscantopdf and neither one recognize a scanner on the system. I found a thread from last year I think and basically got it...

Hello everyone. I have been playing with various Linux Distros for about 2 months now. Finally settling on Mint with KDE for my go to OS. Still dual booting with Windows 7 until I can make sure everything attached to the 'puter works. Eventually I want to customize a Distro to give out to my friends...
